I have been watching Actors and Background Talent struggle to get that one shot that shows a Director who they are. That they're the right person for that part. Be it Soccer mom, Diva, Policeman, Detective, Cowboy or Bad Girl whatever the part you are striving to play that Director needs to see that person in you. In other words you have to SHINE.
As a part of that group I have been cast in several series such as Night Shift, The Messengers, Better Call Saul, The Player, The Girlfriend Experience, Longmire and Get Shorty to name a few. Behind the camera is where I want to be. So I understand where you want to go and what it takes to get you there. To date, I have shot 10 Casting Calls for various productions which include but not limited to Waco, Scalped, Night Shift, Better Call Saul, Longmire and Get Shorty.
I am a Past Board member of New Mexico Women in Film Association and known for my work with the New Mexico Film Foundation. I have attended seminars with highly respected Talent Agents and Casting folks giving their insight on the do's and don’ts of submitting a headshot. So does your headshot pop out? Do your eyes tell who you are? What makes you stand out from the 1000 other people trying to get a foot into this industry? Your most important tool is your Headshot.
In addition to Headshots and Set Photography, for which I have a number of credits on IMDb, my photo spreads have been published in such magazines as Spirits and Cigars (April 2017 interviews and The West Coast Cigars May 2017 Cover page (with Eric Martinez) the Cover Page for New Mexico Entertainment (June 2016, Jim Burleson interview), and the October 2017 issue of Albuquerque Magazine featuring Jim Burleson the Producer, I also have the honor of being published in Thomas John Donnelly’s forthcoming book “Beyond Hollywood – Breaking Good: Film and Television Production in New Mexico.
”
Currently, I am collaborating with Tsailii Rogers of Silent T Productions in various ventures. Tsailii's insight and direction is most welcomed and I look forward to a bright future working with her.
